Volume 2, Issue 1 - January 2007

Let me begin by wishing a belated happy new year to our readers. We're having one of the warmest Januarys on record in the northeastern US -- which is nice for driving and walking, even though it feels a little strange. Global warming?

This is Year Two for InSys Views, and we've decided to expand from six to twelve issues annually. The style and content will be the same, though. It's just an opportunity for me to say hello, and pass on some things you might find worth reading. (One small bit of news is that my figure skating team, Ice Magic, placed third in the Colonials earlier this month. We're in the "masters", category, where we should be!)

The main reason for having this newsletter is to provide a conversational opening for customers and employees alike. So if you have any questions, comments or other thoughts to share, just hit reply and let me know.

Regards,

Linda Magnusson-Rosario, CEO

Business Intelligence Moves Down Market

As BI applications get smaller and cheaper to run, smaller firms are starting to use them to drive innovation and create competitive advantage. The current issue of CIO magazine has a good article on this topic, and it should be required reading for all the InSys BI folks. Read the article.
